hmmm. some kind of intro/tutorial at the beginning would be nice...

I have an idea around implementing a tutorial.

Maybe at the beginning of the game when you wake up on the beach and collect your first skill gem there could be an aging exile decorated in all the fancy shmancy MTX stuff and BiS gear waiting to talk to you. IT'S YOU :O Your guide in all the common things in the game is who you become... but the future is never certain in Wraeclast.

So you talk with your potential future self and he/she joins you like a minion and fights with you through X area's until he/she has covered all the common points a tutorial for this game would cover. Then in true Wraeclast fashion he/she dies horribly and instantly to Piety... because she's always dodging direct conflict with us throughout the games act's / missions.

I dunno... I realise this might not be good for racing and league events. Having an overpowered guide join you would trivialize all the early content (and I wouldn't want that)... if the tutorial could be streamlined I imagine after you finish (your future self is killed) then you could again 'Wake Up' from the start on the beach - only this time your guide isn't waiting there. You question 'Was it real?' but carry on. Then when you slay the first zombie for the skill gem... a few items/currency you collected in the tutorial also drops to add a nice, mysterious touch... and an inkling of dread. Then Piety cackling with delight can be heard but not seen for a time.

Could also be a Grandmaster of the same class that guides us through this tutorial phase... might be a nice incentive for a future pack. LoreMaster pack?

They need a tooltip telling people to read tooltips. This will cut 20% bug reports by 20%, unless the tooltip is self defeating by virtue of no-one reading tooltips of course.
