I think Pledge of Hands is very viable if you don't have a level 4 empower.
If you have an Empower (4) and a 6L +3 fire staff I think a +3 is better. I'll make a leveling guide right now as I have time I am a Mirror, I do not exist.

Hello I'm interested in playing this build, I've run into some questions when looking through your guide
Could you give a rough estimate on what to look for if you wanna start with from scratch and need to buy cheap stuff, Like I've looked on staffs for example and found alot 5 linked white staffs that I could buy cheap. Does it have to be any special type of staff or anything like that? | |

If possible, get a staff with 18% block chance.
But almost any staff (12%) block chance will do Just make sure it has +2 fire gems on it. If it's 6L, +2 fire gems OR +1 All gems is fine. The final thing is a +3 Fire Gems staff. Alternatively Pledge of Hands works well too. " As for other pieces of gear, just get well rolled rares, tri res, ES and life. Not that expensive. the staff is the most expensive part if 6Linked. I`ve already played only max 74 lvl maps in 2.0, but for now this hybrid build with haste is optimal for my playstyle. Fast and deadly. Gratz.

Are there any other good stats on the staff that you might need, or just need +2 fire gems and a 5-6 depending on what you can afford do get rolling?

The only item you need is a +2 Fire staff. 5L/6L doesn't matter. The importance is getting the staff

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but what's the difference between desecrate for flesh offering versus just using the corpses on the ground after you kill them?

Nothing - the only reason we use desecrate is to create additional corpses. or in the rare case make corpses if there are none available (freezing a mob and killing it leaves no corpses) and certain mobs leave no corpses.
