Endgame is boring lol

Problem getting maps? Go into act 3 merc and create a party in the title put buying all maps for 1 alch and people will usually come by with white lvl 66 maps. I did that earlier to get some had some guy come with 8 maps, i made them blues then rerolled the blue stats to ones i liked and stashed em all. Tried one with a maze stat and it ended up dropping two wharfs maps in there which are level 67 maps, already my alch orb on that paid off, oh and it did drop an alch in there lol, so paid back my alch and got two level 67 maps.
Lvl 68 and ive only found 1 map. Been farming for 5 lvl and havent seena single one.

Dont want to use the one i got until i find more. Umm that item quantity give maps higher chance of dropping?

I lost interest before even finishing Merciless :(
I don't like how much slower the leveling gets as you progress, and the XP loss makes it worse.
I'd rather just make new characters... now if only I had more skills to play with.

What's this XP loss you speak of?

I only play HC

Achan, I also strongly suggest trying out the Map system. The Maps are designed to offer a steadily ramping end game difficulty with great rewards. There is a ton of variety in the environments the maps contain, and players have the ability to modify their challange. Give them a try if you haven't already, I suspect that they'll rekindle that addiction you felt on the way to completing Merciless.

It might be fun to have a secondary endgame besides maps. Where you can get awards (not rewards) for doing boss only maps you can access after killing piety. Solo 2x Vaal, or Solo Piety, General G, Party 3x Vaal, etc. it would be nice to have a ladder of how many awards, but not too important. Just a thought, might break up monotony (not that i am bored).
No experience of maps yet but....do maps contain a random mix of monsters? If not, adding that adds long life to endgame. Facing two or three monster types that you would not otherwise ever encounter together adds a lot. Again, Torchlight 1 and 2 have great endgames, see those if inspiritation is needed.
Did you know level 91 is the halfway point to level 100? This means that a softcore character dying ONCE at level 85+ can lose many days of progress.

Good for you, but I don't see that helping with my problem (i.e. leveling being too slow). If anything HC makes it even slower because you need to be more careful with progress.
Nobody cares go play a different game nerd
Just spent 6 hours farming docks and got 1 lvl 66 map ... i have to call it gamebreaking bug.
i got my beta key from Icoblablubb - vielen danke !!!

the first (and only?) 6 linked blue sox on magic armor in beta :P

are you serious? i LOVE TL1 & 2, but i dont see them as having "end game" material. Mods are tl2 endgame. Its a game meant to play over and over again.
