I think this free open source design tool qualifies as a modern marvel. With it, a single person can create photo realistic pictures, modeling, animations, movies, games, and virtual environments. I would donate my brain to science under 1 condition. They turn me into a robobrain so I can troll the internet for eternity. Seriously, if some time in the next 20 years if they start looking for human volunteers to become cyborgs, sign me up. I'd never pass up an opportunity to exist beyond human biological limits.
People in the future are probably going to pay a whole lot of money to exist beyond human biological limits, so IMO, one would be silly to pass up the opportunity to volunteer for a free upgrade. Sometime in the year 23XX, the dude who beats you in a VR game and says with a deep Aussie accent "U git rekt m8?" is actually a 300 y/o robobrain, not a teenager.
