High EU realm ping.

Same here, BT internet having 115 ping instead of the usual 30.
Same as everyone else. It's been like this for a little while now. Anyone found a solution to resolve this?

EDIT: I ran a tracert. Seems like my connection is heading to Seattle o.O.

I have got in contact with BTcare on twitter and they have pointed it toward GGG servers for this, i know btcare isnt great on twitter but it was the easiest way to get in touch.

I will be sending an email to GGG about this so hopefully they can shed some light on this as its VERY annoying playing with above 100ms ping :(
Ran pingplotter ( new to this ) and its being directed through San Fransisco .

Unfortunately, looking at the WinMTR reports that are being provided, the issue looks like it's occurring before it gets to our game servers.

It also seems as though everyone having this issue is on your specific ISP, and so it would either be an issue with their network or one of the carriers they're using.

| 213.137.183.100 - 0 | 405 | 405 | 22 | 24 | 62 | 24 |
| t2c4-xe-0-0-0-0.de-fra.eu.bt.net - 0 | 405 | 405 | 40 | 43 | 94 | 41 |

Most of the issues seem to be happening around that area, which is a few steps before our game servers.
I will contact BT tommorow , in the meantime using a free VPN to go through the Netherlands . Getting 50 ms atm , Will use this until problem gets resolved .

Edit - sigh vpn not such a great idea

This is some strange lag, my ping won't show any big change, 55-77 but the game itself stops updating the screen.

Was just in a map (oh my luck) against a rogue who stood still during the fight, every 2-4 sec for as long, as well as every monster around me, then skipping ahead again.
I hit F1 but couldn't see any ping changes, it was just frozen at 80 and kept resuming the game after those chokes... really unstable and risky.

Also my hideout was looking empty when I entered it, and it took a while for it to apply the decorations.
"Im smartest. Your stoped. Dael wiht it."
I also have bt infinity 2 and started getting this problem about 2 days ago. Ping went from 16 ms on eu to 116.

I have been in contact with about 5 different support "engineers" at bt pointing them to the exact location of the problem but its like smashing my head against a brickwall.

Good luck ever getting this sorted, I think my only option is to sswitch to virgin.
Just spent another hour on the phone to them. Managed to get it escalated to lvl 2 technical support lol. BT are a joke.
Thank you for speaking to them and please keep us posted .
This could be affecting a large amount of users by the sound of it , would it be prudent to make sure its only Poe that is being affected ? ( I personally have no ping issues with any other games or programs ) .

If we can determine it is ONLY path of exile that is having problems GGG may have another look into it , as the GGG response basically says contact ISP it is not us .
