How viable do you guys think summoner builds are for new leagues like this? I really want to make one but have a feeling it will be too hard or expensive to get the items and gems I will need.
Very viable and very cheap if done correctly.

Very viable and very cheap if done correctly.
you can't level as a summoner tho. But have the gems (zombie & spectre for sure) equipped just to level. I usually put them in 2nd weapon slot.
