question (again) about freeing player names
has been talked about before to no avail and there have been statements from ggg that they will free names from unused very old accounts several times (which they didn't).
so now with the new xpak there is another chance to get this done because players who don't return for the new content some weeks after it started are probably gone forever. aren't they? did you see players return after being > 2 years offline? age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

Just so you know. Bex, take note "Itheryel" :o) Peace, -Boem- (-Itheryel-) Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" i put my hidden agenda into spoiler tags but they somehow vanished 8-) age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" I'd say after act 4 comes out they should review it and free up the names, lets face it many players are on hiatus atm waiting for act 4 messing about with names before then is just going to hammer support with QQ and help requests Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

" Afaik they have always said that they wont free the names of inactive players. |
|
" err, yes. " yep, that's what i wrote. i think 3-4 weeks should be sufficient. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

"I think at one point they said they were willing to email the account holder, other than that they wouldnt do it without the person holding the name. | |
And the cycle moves on. Next up, pants.

" Bmbi already has that covered since a day or so. Explicitly state "no pants" results in "pants" only responses. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" People being gone for 3-4 weeks at a time isn't an unusual thing in poe, as a Alpha member I'm surprised you didn't know this. Me myself are gone for 5-6 months at a time so I wanna keep my names thank you. |
