I think it is just the base item that has changed, such that you lose out on 20% crit. I think it is still very much worth it.

I believe the 1st version of Divinarius had 50%. The second version had 40%. The newest version.. may or may not be variable, we just don't know that yet. How yours has 50%/40%.. I have no idea. It's impossible to know when exactly your version is from.

I did not have access to beta until 18th of march. The divinarius got its base item changed 29th of march. My drop must have been the last version.

I see that there is quite a gap of time in between the items, so I suppose it is possible the values got changed.

but i wouldn't be using the daggers to attack... i'd simply hold the daggers and go to town with AoE spells lol thats what people did before and of course the damage is shit for attacking with them. there is tons of CASTER mods on it after all.
Point is that a Caster dagger of equivalent item level can have significantly more spellpower and crit chance, alongside other more beneficial mods like cast speed. You won't easily find a level 20 dagger with 50% spellpower and crit chance.
We need a +max fire resist unique. I can't make righteous fire work, even with a +10% max fire resist flask and +6% max resists and 2.2k life at level 50 and iron will tied to it with the unique +2 to fire gem staff. Ugh.
