Just got done with all four challenges with this build. First build I have ever leveled to 80- this has got to be one of the most fun characters I have played. Thank you so much for creating it.

Happy to know that and thank you for your kind words. :)

I really like the rhythm you can get going with this build and when you start getting some damage gear...

Currently playing your build, which is quite fun. Have you tried uber Aztiri at all?

I hadn't tried her yet, on the several kills on torment I didn't managed to make a full set and the 1 month race char isn't geared up for that.

That said, do you have a gear recommendation for trying uber or is your current torment gear set viable. Asking since I've never made an evasion character so I'm not really sure what's available for this type of build.

Without trying it my self it's hard to recommend, sorry. But I can try to give some more information about the build that may help you.

The advantages (on 1.3.x) of evasion based chars is that you don't worry about projectile attacks. That helps you focus on melee attackers that if they get close they may wreck you. To reach that all you need is to have around 50% evasion chance at the level of the content (it's actually less because you can't reach 100% projectile evasion, but combined with Acrobatics it will feel like it).

Apex of Sacrifice is level 70 (normal) and The Alluring Abyss is level 80 (uber), so you need more evasion for the same outcome. Since the mobs deal more damage also, getting more life may be important.

In this build you have two defenses for melee mobs, AOE freeze and high movement speed, that works on everything except Apex bosses. So as long you can take a hit or two from a boss, while doing damage (killing adds to refresh the flasks) you should be fine.

On Atziri her self, trough the minion spawning mechanic, your aoe damage per second is tested and if you don't have enough damage she will out-heal your damage. Basically if you get defenses sacrificing too much damage, you may end up stuck on Atziri.

If you manage to test her on uber version I would love to know your feedback on it and what you found more difficult and what was trivial!

So I was looking at your final build and I saw there was a lot of points spent moving around the trees. I understand why, but I wanted to see if there was any way to shift some of the movement so that you either got more or spent less. I found one shift, that doesn't really save any points, but positions you a bit better I think. Not 100% sure how much better it would work in the lower level builds, since it uses a few of the nodes you picked up later.

Basically instead of going down through the Energy Shield crossover, you cross over in the witch part of the tree.

To keep it at exactly 106 points, I dropped the alacrity, the 30 dex node, cause you get 20 dex in practical application. Main benefit of the change IMO, is it goes through elemental dominion, which is both useful, and it means it's easy to move into the fire/lightning/cold walker skills. 4 points there gives 26% to all elemental damage, and 15% to all 3 resists.

I make no claims to being any kind of expert, but it was something I thought looked interesting, so I figured to share it.

That's an interesting shift of points, if you want easy access to more damage. Not having the ES bonus though may hurt the mana regeneration and it cuts the access to another energy shield/life north east of scion. Another thing you have to take care about is that by lowering the dex you need to get more of it from gear so you can run maximum level grace and good evasion pieces.

But if you are lucky and get nice evasion on hybrid ES/evasion gear, the dex requirements can lower a bit, or, in worst cases it will delay the build in 1 point (at higher levels that can take more play time though).

Thank you for your suggestion, I will add as an alternative path that has access to more damage.

Thank you for elaborating on the evasion mechanics. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing (since it's working) and maybe get a shot at an uber fight in the future. Hopefully when 2.0.0 drops the trapper will still be a viable end game build as it's an interesting and enjoyable play style. Thanks again for posting your build.

Good luck with it and if you need assistance with any other part of the build just drop a word.

Don't forget that even for the same gear level the gems being at level 17 and 18 (18/19 and 19/20) is a HUGE damage difference. So if you reach Atziri and you aren't able to kill enough adds, try again in a few "gem" levels.
