Is Conc-Effect still better on FT (rather than Prolif) against Atziri?

On Atziri as long you are able to kill most of the adds before they reach her and heal, Conc Effect will increase the single target damage significantly without having to change the socket colors.

Killing Atziri faster, specially during the split phase, means less time to make silly mistakes or fall to a lag spike.

Finished all the challenges with this build for the 1 Week Torment/Bloodlines Standard. The hardest part was Atziri since I did her with lvl 17 and 16 gems. Died once on Double Vaal due to poor reaction to the death of the 1st construct and used all the remaining portals on Atziri.

Since the gems were low level, combined with slightly worst gear, I had a lot less damage then on previous tries and had to use Elemental Prolif on Fire Trap to kill "enough" adds so she wouldn't heal back and didn't had enough additional mana to run Clarity and double purity.

Still I wanted to rush it to finish the challenges and try, with the remaining time, the hardcore challenges.

Just added a few videos of the full run of Apex of Sacrifice that given me the 4rd challenge.

Messy Atziri fight since I had low damage due to under leveled gems but done in one Apex set!

As with most spell based builds, the damage difference between 17 - 18 - ... gems is HUGE. I would recommend to level up the gems first, but I wanted to push the challenge as soon as possible so now I still have a bit of time to try the Hardcore challenge league.

This 4 challenges were achieved with less then 3 hours a day of gameplay (including afk's, breaks... etc) except on weekends that I had around 4-5 hours per day.

Hi again. I'm trying this in the 1mhc league. I notice we take blood drinker. Why? If each trap is pure ele dmg there is no physical. It is simply the quickest path to where we need to be w/ the 8% life benefit and ignoring the 2% leech?

Yes the leech doesn't matter, but not only the node is 8% but also the nodes around it are 6%, they are a bit more efficient in getting hp then the average (4-5% per node). Getting what's after that node is probably more important then the side node it self if you have enough hp, but that depends on your luck with gear drops and you can always spec it in and out easily with the free regrets from quests.

That's pretty much what I figured. Just finished HC dom on normal w/ no death yet. It's running fairly smooth so far. =) battery and EE is next nodes coming up so that should help big time.

On HC don't forget that the sequence of traps helps a bit, arc -> cold snap -> fire is one of the most defensive ones for those quick moving mobs, specially after EE.

Just got done with all four challenges with this build. First build I have ever leveled to 80- this has got to be one of the most fun characters I have played. Thank you so much for creating it.
