Potential economic disaster Monday - Elreon concerns.

My concern isn't the price, but the currency. I can farm chaos orbs, but I can't farm exalted orbs (solo/self-found).
doesnt make sense at all to have chaos fee for this mod. This should cost either 2 or 3 ex or 1 eternal, but no way it should cost any chaos.

and lol@complains about exalt:chaos rate... seriously guys... You can do 2 chaos orbs for every dominus run with some MF, so 30 runs and you have your exalts in your ( fucked ) temporary league, stop whine for everything.

Radical changes in mid-league, which is supposed to be competitive ladder, where half the players got the cheap advantage, but the other half will have to pay the expensive one? Only at GGG superabalance movingtarget team.

I find it funny that everyone is acting like this is some HUGE change that will affect everyone, completely change how people play the game, or radically affect currency ratios.

First of all, how many people will this really even affect? How many of you people complaining about it even HAVE a level 8 master to use the crafting mod in the first place? I'm guessing LONG before that point, you'll have found a couple exalts or SOMETHING you can trade for them, at least. And for anyone playing purely self-found, odds are you'll find 2 ex faster than you'll find a divine.

Secondly, currency ratios always shift over the course of a league. Nearly every significant patch will have something that changes prices of a few items. Even if GGG changes NOTHING during a league, prices will still shift as different groups of players reach certain stages of the game where they need different items.

As for this specific change, again it seems like relatively few people will even be able to use that crafting mod at this point, so it shouldn't affect prices THAT much. I suspect most of the changes you are seeing right now are a combination of people panic buying/selling and others speculating based on that. The price ratios will change dramatically for a few days and then gradually return back to something at least closer to where they were before. There may be some long term affect on the ratios, but I doubt it will be anywhere near as big as you're making it out to be.

I understand your arguments and I too think it will not have that big of an impact. However, let's not forget that there are people with lvl 8 Elreon who can craft this mod for his/her friends and guildies. With this said, it does have immediate impact after the patch since you don't need to have a lvl8 Elreon yourseff to get this mod.

Please enlighten me about other mid league patches which significantly altered the primary form of gaining high end and reliable weapons.

Currency ratios DO shift, organically, based on supply and demand. GGG is forcing this change inorganically by changing a fundamental and significant crafting cost.

I'm guessing a 33% increased cost based on this change alone to exalts, from 45 to 60. That's just for this change. That's not even considering that the exalt ratio is slowly climbing due to extreme demand, now that demand is even more significant.

It's just too much value on one currency.
1 divine was way to cheap.
But pure exalt can be annoying.
80 chaos would be better

And plz add hybrid spell dmg/mana to the master !
biggest mistake was to introduce hybrid phys as crafting... now the system is fucked up.

This League was so incredibly fun before everyone started figuring out Chaos was useless and Exalts rose up in value like crazy. It was the most fun I had in a league, well the first half of it anyways.

I'm glad I started early and at least got one good build to endgame. I'm really not looking forward to Exalts skyrocketing in value even more.

Exalt to chaos ratio always skyrockets in temp leagues around midway until near the end when it gravitates toward whatever standard radio is. Almost as predictable as the sun rising in the east at this point.
Thanks for all the fish!
