Yep, that'll work. It's 342 DPS counting the elemental damage.

Looks good for your level, but here's how you figure out weapon DPS for future reference -

Add the damage numbers together. So, 24 + 63 = 87

Then divide by two to get the average. So 87 / 2 = 43.5

Then, multiply by the attack speed. So 43.5 * 1.5 = 65.25 rounded down to 65 DPS.

Hey Sovyn, it's me again. ;)

First of all i really wanna thank you for that guide, allthough i haven't followed it religiously he gave me a great idea what a block build should look like.
I tried building a block Templar 2 times in Standard, before i went with your Guide and the Knowledge i got while failing my first Templars and started there fresh with 0 Currency.

Well it works for now, i reached Mapping with 0 Deaths.
Since then i died sometimes do to my own stupidity so nothing a skilled player has to fear. ;)

I didnt play selffound so i traded some Gems and Shields + Stone of Lahzwhar.
Also i kept my Weapon up to date every 10-20 Levels.

My Templar now looks like

I'm glad you found the guide useful. :) Nice gear.

I will keep it up! I am now working on some efficiency testing of various attack skill gem combos. My stopwatch is really getting a workout. More later.

Hello Lazy Pallys!

I am level 82(and 45%) atm, and started to test reave.

Reave has always been a skill, that i did not use.
Dunno why, but i don't have liked it.

But as some pallys mentioned, it works fine, i decided to give it a try.

My highest reave gem has been level 6, and i only have a good 4-link, that i can use.
(i own several 5-links, but would loose to much armor...)

I really have to say, that it is very nice to play reave. Even with the low-level-gem.
I started at the docks, and the mobs went down instantly.

Now the gem is still only at level ten, but even in a 4-link, i can clean the trash on a
66 map very easy.

I think, with a lvl 19 reave/increased area effect, it is a perfect skill for us.


And that is another big point for sovyn's build.
You can easily switch between attack skills, and look for that one, you like most.
