Latency issue during certain time periods. With MTR

I have been noticing I can not play POE without 200+ ping in the evenings as of late. Doing normal speedtests shows no issues, and I do not seem to get as high of ping to other games such as diablo 3. (sits at 100 or so)

I removed some numbers from the first few jumps. This was using PathofExile.com as the host.

I have also noticed this issue, it seems to happen between 6pm-10pm eastern time. I live in Florida and have 250-300 ping during these times and 40-50 at all other times.

It's a little sad I can connect to the European server with only 120 ping during this time and I live in the US. It might be a routing issue?

I don't think routing should change based on time of day.. but I am not much for networking. It is confusing.

If you guys are like me you are getting hit with ISP overcrowding. Basically your ISP doesn't have enough local infrastructure to handle all the traffic and thus you get reduced bandwidth, higher latency and packet loss. And this is obviously more prevalent during peak usage times, such as between 1700 and 2300ish. Hopefully you guys have other ISP options available to you, unlike me who lives in the country and we only have 1 non-dialup ISP here who still is using all copper wires (IE, no fiber optics.)

Im going to guess that he doesnt have the same ISP as me. I run a very shitty ISP that we were their first residential network for. They only did hotels until they picked us up. But its in our HOA contract so I have little choice as to who to pick without paying double. (I pay for the ISP i have regardless of if I use it or not)

This ping issue is getting fucking retarded. Cant play because i have 300ping in only this game. Fix this shit.

...are you me? I'm in the Orlando area and have been having these issues for weeks now and have not figured out a cause. To help narrow it down, is your internet from Bright House?

got the same issue. mid 30s ping during the day and 200-400 ping during evening hours, but a 120ish ping to the eu servers somehow. connection to everything else is fine, only have this issue with poe.

same stuff happening here
