The screen freeze when opening chests has to go!
" I do wish to be polite but screw off. We shouldn't have to be two generations ahead of the recommended hardware requirements to expect to survive opening a box. "If they actually showed gameplay with it zoomed out and then zoomed it in for the real one I think there would be actual riots in the street. I think that people would burn the building down."

i have the same problem with opening boxes. its even more laggy if there is a exile waiting in it

Installing the game on a SSD or inside a RAM disk helps tremendously. It doesn't make the problem go away entirely. but it got much better when I moved the game from a HDD to a SSD.
That said, I agree. It's another cool feature that was designed without any consideration for their own engine's limitations. It's like people who make $2500 a month and live as if they made $5000. | |

thats how my templar died 80llv ago 2days opened chest freezed for 2 seconds..i had left 200-300hp after freeze..could not even made in time click macro...i died becuz mobs had +2projectiles and chest summoned dogs...55000hp gone in 2 seconds

Those that said no screen freeze on opening Strongbox, does your Strongbox contains no "Got an exile" mod?

Guess some people have good enough computer to handle it but for most of us a exile mod that spawn the summoner exile instantly summoning vaal skeletons will make the computer freeze for 1-2 sec (the reason I died the 2 last times in hc leagues).
But it is perfectly safe to open any box if you just place 3 elemental prolif cold snap traps around the box before you activate it. | |

Never had a problem with that, but CoC GM GB AB maks me lag sometime Vs bosses when it procs like crazy
