Lvl 77, out of maps, Back to docks? yea right

You're going to reach a point where you get basically no exp anyway farming. This is even if you farmed the highest lvl.maps over and over again.

I've made the suggestion to allow lvl 66 maps to be bought from vendor for a chaos, but I've made that suggestion a long time ago to no avail. So its either suck it up amd farm in a farming game, buy one, reroll, or quit.
Yea I saw the chaos suggestion, that would be fine with me.

Nope.

So you get 15% less orb drops.

God forbid a couple of kids spend some time farming an area instead of flopping their funstick at the screen.

Seriously, crying over a few hours at docks? may as well just hand you the endgame areas in a basket when you sign up.

You dont have idea what you are talking about. Yea i go with smile on the face grind 5 hours of Dicks anly to get maybe two/three white 66lvl maps when im 75. FUN! FUN! FUN!

Its funny that the 'hardcores' never have real arguments, never feels like they have knowledge about game design etc... they just come and insult everyone with 'we are better players' attitude and when they are asked 'how this, this nad this will hirt this game?" youll get "STFU child! Im hardcore this game should be hardcore! Grind 56 hours to even try endgame is FUN! And STFU one more time tyou pathetic casual!" .

Current implementation of endgame is very bad and punishing. Period. It basically feels liek World Of Warcfta instance grinding to (maybe) go to another instance in 20 hours. With this difference that POE will lock you in Docks again when you will burn out your maps.

Whole tiered maps progression is bad and boring in the first place.

This guy is so good at video games man.
I see this has not been fixed yet. During Closed Beta I was one of the players debating very strongly for a solid way to attain maps. This game has enough randomness and farming as it is. Giving us control over what level maps we want to progress to is the only correct way to go, for endgame to stay interesting.

Maps should be about getting the best loot / getting to higher level content. Right now, maps is only about rolling optimal affixes to improve map droprates (larger groups, double boss, more rares, bigger area).

And no, constantly running out of level appropriate maps (or maps all together) is not fun.

I agree on a lot that you say, but not this (at all). Maps is the best feature PoE has to offer, compared to the lackluster or non existing endgame content games like Torchlight or Diablo have to offer.

Problem is that running maps should not be about getting more maps. It should be about testing your character at more difficult content. As of that, yes I think every first map boss (to make double boss mod not too strong) should drop an equal level map, with the chance of a lvl+1 map.

That way you can carve your own progression path, depending on how strong you are (or think that you are). The only time you will run out of maps is when you get too confident and can't kill the final boss repeatedly (and are unlucky with random drops).

You nailed it right there. Instead at the moment it's about fighting the RNG. How silly is that?

I debated about this for weeks on end during the Closed Beta and eventually quit the game over it. Map system is amazing, in theory. In practice, it's just not fun right now.
