How are players with default stash tabs supposed to complete "Own these unique items" challenge?
" I agree. Playing with 4tabs+mules is doable, but not optimal. Just like spending 1000 hours grinding for a Kaom's Heart is doable. But not as optimal as working 10 hours at McDonald's for minimum wage ($7.50), and purchasing a Kaom's Heart with the earned $$$. I'm not advocating RMT, but simply pointing out that GGG sort of has a double standard. On one hand, they demonize RMT sites for selling pixels (convenience), while at the same time selling "convenience" via stash tabs right in their own MTX store. ✮ in-game @FTMFW ✮ twitch.tv/RRTSON ✮ [Shop] http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/909223 ✮ [Build of the Week] http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1034503 Last edited by rrtson#7791 on Aug 30, 2014, 12:36:39 AM

" No this is not the same type of analogy. You're constructing a strawman out of a ridiculous analogy (Obama, wtf?) and claiming that you've somehow disproven my analogy. Try again. ✮ in-game @FTMFW

" One is against the rules and can get you banned while the other is safe and won't get you into any trouble. Buying equipment for $$ is buying power, buying stash tabs for $$ is buying space, space to store more items than a free player which is a benefit for hoarders but it's not a necessity as the game offers you a great amount of character slots and the option to create more accounts for free. You could argue that the free player would have to spend a few seconds more getting gear from alts / other accounts than the players that bought stash tabs but at the end of the day they have the same amount of storage. " Just like working at McDonald's for 1000 hours to purchase a top of the line computer is doable but it's not as optimal as robbing a bank. |
