I plan on making a char with this build and for now I just took a quick look and I got a possibly dumb question about the passives. Why on earth did you take "Shaper"? You only got 1.Xk hp and blood magic so why do you need that 1% hp regen and 40% mana regen?

HC is definitely not for me, and starting again would be a pain.

For the same reason we run vitality

Your skills are cast off of life and most of your life is reserved with auras, having just a few hundred life left over to cast your skills with and no way to leech life (because we leech es instead) you want your life to regen as fast as possible to sustain your attacks.

Life regen + the life on kill nodes is how we sustain our attacks.

You can get by without using shaper, but it is a nice quality of life addition for only one point.

you can buy some already mirrored shields for 180-230ex, which are just as good (less block and weaker if you have 100% bis gear)
