Nerfing curses rant - Rant

I really don't understand you people.
When auras were rebalanced you did the same freaking thing. Do you think that every single person is suppose to carry a curse and while having full benefit from it while dishing out incredible damage anyway.
Also I can't remember any character that I had that didn't posses a curse.

Do you really believe it is meant to be that every player had a curse to be mandatory on every freaking character ever made?
If you're mad because your character is now "unviable" or something, you should really consider that you are not the only one and wraeclast is a unforgivable bitch.
If you can't handle it then gtfo.

When aura's were rebalanced, I was so happy. I had a glacial hammer witch utilizing every aura there was ingame. Absolutely ridiculous. Do you think it was meant that one person carries the whole party with mega buffs? Idk really anymore maybe you are all 12year pre-puberty kids that can post stuff on forums or really just dumb.)

Funny thing is, when the aura rebalance happened, everything the masses was qqing about turned out to be the exact opposite of reality. People were saying it was a mass nerf to every char who used auras (every char) and that end game was gonna be harder and that turned out to be dead wrong. People were saying the ones that used to be flat mana like anger and wrath were gonna be completely useless as 60% auras and that turned out to be dead wrong etc.
We can't know for sure until we see everything in-game, but it sounds like curses actually got a big buff. More curse nodes (that are easier to reach) & Curse on Hit is getting a big buff if the leak is correct (100% success rate at LV1 & a buff in curse effect by max LV).
Who's bitching about the curse change?

I agree with the general gist of your rant, but the timing seems a bit early. The real patch notes and skill tree hasn't even been relased yet and the QQ hasn't even begun (if there even will be much)

Personally, I saw way, way, WAY more complaining about CoE mechanics changing than curses.

I'm honestly rather surprised at the crickets surrounding the curse changes.

We'll see how bad they get hit. I'm thinking that the boss penalties will be reduced while curse effectiveness will be considerably reduced as well, but I'm just another player speculating, so we'll see.

I'm hoping that with the changes to life and mana, we'll have more points to spend. And with the new Curse talents, Curses will become a thing you choose to use, not just another obligatory gem.
I do believe curse is being buffed now.
It seems full support builds will be a thing now.

Tons of auras linked to generosity.

Tons of curses linked to something like split arrow-gmp-chain with projectile speed so everything in a 180 degree arc is multi-cursed for like 4-5 screens.

Then you just stay back behind the party since you will be weak as hell (probably a good thing so you don't get owned by reflect).
Until you have played the integration of all the new content and everything that's offered in 1.2.0 I really find these threads a little redundant.
