Finally after the third time he exclaimed, "I don't understand your shit!" and he paid my first counter offer price which was close to my initial asking price.
Depending on the context "Thank you anyway and good luck" can be rightfully seen as false courtesy.

I've paid 2ex for a tabula before...just needed to try things out on a 6link and sold mine for 2ex. 2 seems standard. not bad not great.
