Real Money for In-Game Currency, and Microtransactions

" This may be a shocker to you, but the job market sucks, and when you're both broke and have a lot of free time, playing a free game doesn't sound so ludicrous. But yes, once I'm working this will be a non-issue, i was just wondering if there were alternatives in the meantime. As I started this post with, I figured that in-game currency to real money is a no go, but wanted to confirm anyhow. I tried that bing promotion, apparently it's not available in Canada. I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for competitions, particularly ones that can get me stash tabs somehow. Thanks to everyone who gave helpful advice, and get a life to the troll, I'm sure you know who you are, :) |

Hope everything works out and your job luck improves in the future.

" " What did you expect? You're asking question which is answered in game rules (which you haven't read). " And you know why job market sucks? Because shitton of people are spoiled, and are just waiting for job to drop by, without doing anything to get one. Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance. Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. Last edited by Perq#4049 on Aug 5, 2014, 3:48:30 AM

" When you assume you make an ass of u and me. The job market is much more sophisticated of a problem than you make it out to be, people not having jobs isn't due to laziness, people don't have jobs because all that's out there tends to be minimum wage jobs, sorry if im "spoiled" because I don't choose to flip burgers at the nearest burger joint after sinking thousands of dollars in a degree, I think I'll keep trying to get something in my educated field thank you. I asked a question to start the conversation about the fact that many people play this game who would like the benefits of micro-transactions, but have more important things to spend, what little money we have, on. I didn't read the rules, but if you "read" my original post, I made the safe assumption that it is not allowed, but figured it's a good stepping stone to my real question; could there be more integration for the broke people to not feel left out of some very nice benefits that supporters get, simply because we can't support at the moment? So once again, thanks for the helpful advice for those who gave it; trolls, get a life, I'm jobless and I still can't find time to be a troll and an asshole, but then, I don't have mommy and daddy feeding me with a silver spoon while i wipe my ass with their money. :) Last edited by fates_eye#2783 on Aug 5, 2014, 4:59:12 PM

They say don't look a gift horse in the mouth, never quite understood that saying, and many others, you can't have your cake and eat it too, who gets a cake to not eat it, anyhow i digress. Thanks for everything, this thread was very informative for me, and on an end note for this thread, I am really looking forward to Forsaken Masters.

RMT is not allowed but a ton of ppl do it anyways. Just look at ppl who have 2-3 or even more mirrored items. Mirror are extremely rare. So its easy to say that many still go to 3rd party website and buy currency or even buy mirrored items directly from them. Even even look at poe.xyz.is how many have the same weapon or chest. Specially daggers. Also some even sell items for real money on website like d2jsp.
I imagine you already know about bots so no point in talking about them. But all arpg are plagued by RMTers and Bots. But that doesnt affect the way I play. I could careless if hes op and im not. As long as I enjoy the game |

" Have a fun stay, sir! You are also allowed to use muling accounts to work around your limited stash. GGG allows two clients to be run at the same time. Hope this might help you until you get to enjoy some actual stash tabs. :) |
