Why I hate partying with low-life ST players...

This is why I run my own maps my own self. When I do map with others it's their maps and I follow their rules. I'm not having some jerk screw around in my maps!

If it's your map, and you're the host, it's your rules. Kick them and replace them with good people.

A Kick within the map should result in that player also being ported out of the map.

That's really fucking smart guys. Pay 3c for the fee, port everyone in, kick everyone, enjoy your map.

I've done plenty of 76-78 maps in standard in the past few weeks.

I put "77 maps | 2c fee | go left/clockwise ^--" in title.

In the lab before opening a map I ask people to follow the wall on their character's left.

Sometimes if I see a high level LL ST or wander in the party I ask them what their DPS is in party chat, and then I ask everyone to follow them. Typically people will follow someone when they know that the person is dishing out 150k DPS. I don't care about physically leading people as party leader, I just want everyone to stay together, not backtrack excessively, and not miss map drops.

Other than that if someone still goes solo (like some reave guys like to do), I ask them once to not solo (don't solo). If they ignore me they get kicked before next map, if they rejoin the group right away, I let them stay.

This seems like a lot of work, but often once you start rolling and people aren't leaving the party you can breeze through sets of maps.

I agree as well. I was leveling a char up and there as an obnoxious player so I booted him. A bit later on a friend wanted to join but couldn't enter the instance since at already had 6 players in it. I had to ditch the party and remake with my friend and redo the instance. If the player that I kicked got a free TP back to town, then this wouldn't have been an issue.

Old arguement that holds no weight. They could do that maybe a few times, then what? Black listed by everyone. Highly likely to be reported repeatedly. Is it worth it? For a couple chaos orbs. Unlikely.

If people wanted to do this they could do it already. Just disband the party after getting payment from everyone. Don't even need to open the map with everyone there.

I've been mapping quite a lot recently, and I don't know if it's exclusive to low-life ST players, but they are possibly the most annoying/frustrating people to map with. I'm referring to the fact that they often rush ahead of the group like they're trying to set a speed record or something.

The host will say "stick to sides please" before opening map, and the 1 or 2 low-life ST players will proceed to jump into the map like they didn't hear anything and start doing their own thing. They're literally rushing past each other, trying to get to the next fresh mob. Perhaps to boost their e-peen? I don't know. They often leave entire mobs behind, go in all different directions, and completely disregard the party's constant reminder to stick together.

Yes, we know you can kill really, really fast. We appreciate that you have the ability to carry the entire team. Now can you please play with the group like a normal human being? By rushing ahead, you've deprived the rest of the party of 50% of the exp. And now everyone hates you for it.

Just dont play with randoms in random parties.
But thats no point of ll ST, any highgear bow build / flicker will do (or can do) exactly the same! (there are prolly more builds which are also able to)
