Even the GGG dev team will probably get a D3 copy at release ... so pretty much everyone will get a copy, including the few that will try to resist the urge.
Now if D3 is going to be still selling 5-10 years after release like D2 is, that is the real question. |

" If they drop the price to $49.99 I'll buy it. Otherwise, no... not on release. I REFUSE to pay console prices on my PC games. Never have, never will. I'd rather wait 6-12 months after a game comes out and pay less than pay $60. EDIT: Case in point, Battlefield 3 is coming out soon and I almost skipped buying it but I found it for $48 on a digital site (D2D). Otherwise, I wouldn't be getting that either. Call me crazy... I spent $300 for a PS3, and $300 for an XBox360. I also own a WII. I gladly pay $60 for those games (which I've only really done probably 5 times... the rest were on sale). But I spent probably $1100 for this rig and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay the same outrageous inflated prices as a console player. Upkeep to stay with the developers is so much higher than an extra $10 for a console game that it's not even close to being equal. The sooner developers open their eyes and consumers stop paying the inflated prices... the more game copies they'll sell. Join the Veterans of War! See the thread in Off-topic for details.
