What will we do without Charan?

Probably whatever we were doing before, im currently enjoying diablo 3 since i dont have time for PoE
the reason for his qutting is basically another build he liked got nerfed... well, i have to say that that shit happened to me a lot of times, probably the ones that were the most annoying were CI, diamond flasks, ele cleave. But i suspect the main reason for his depart, or long brake, is something else, since having your build nerfed in this game is pretty much standard for everyone whos been playing for a long time. " From what people are talking about, it was the trap mine combo that caused the QQ. I dont get it though as it seems for the % damage only, why bother? You know they would get around nerfing straight up dps boosts that are that cheap to get. |

From reading his posts before, I believe it was the level of frustration he has with the game mechanics forcing players into using AoE attacks.
Pure melee just is not viable. I know, I keep trying too. But unlike me, Charan knows the programmers personally and I can only guess at the added aggravation that could cause. I hope he comes back to the forum. He may rub a lot of people the wrong way, but I liked it. |

I would love to know how to do it without at least one AoE attack.
In D2, my barb had to kill each and every monster one at a time. But I could beat the game. In PoE, there are too many attackers dealing more damage than ever in D2. My personal Demons are the lighting arc killers in the third act. 100% accuracy and super fast casting. It's a cheap way of forcing player to choose parties, ranged or AoE. You will not survive playing pure melee. I still love the game, but I have pretty much given up on ever finding a true melee build. |

" well i reckon its time for d2 then( intend to buy it again at some point since i really do miss playing a crushing blow barb)... unless you consider cyclone a single target, or melee splash + skill.
