Did anyone ever realize?
It is true.
It makes sence to ,it's true to dew to the way economics work. It happens in any game whare player interaction is alowed whare they can echange something. Thares actualy a ton of information about this and we can thank EvE online for givning the bulk of it. Some of it is very interesting. The long and short of it is that games do NOT work like a real life economey. They actualy are full fledged working economys that offten ( like 95 % of the time ) work just like real life economeys since they are in self contained states. Only outside interation ( game devs minipulating things ) can actualy have a impact to change a system from how the players of the game natrualy set it up 1 that is nearly identical to how any RE economy works. the reason for this is that economys are not something that happens to control the way wealth is moved and controled , it's a by product of the wealth. If thares a need 1 will arise. The nature of how this happens , who controls it , and who gains from it is the same almost every time. This happens becuse of what people WANT not what they have. It's very interesting how , left un checked , a in game economey will start working like a real economy almost instantly and only grow to solidify this into something that is nearly imposible to change. The other thing i really find interesting is that the way the bulk of people aproch gaining wealth in a game enviroment is "wrong" ( just like the bulk of people who try this in RL ) stat for stat it's almost identical. " Im pro trading and pro finding orbs to craft shit with. I was always for making a short term SFL from a week to a month for GGG to see if its worth picking up for a perma league or a 4 month league. I want to be able to find enough ex so i can throw them at lvl 10 items. I know stupid but it would be a lot more fun this way as crafting aka current gambling being for lvl 70+ is a bit of a let down. This thread isnt about that though. Its comparing real life to games and how some might feel misery in both and if that might or might not be a bad thing. |

GGG is secretly selling there statistic to every nation worldwide, we are just the ants in the thread-mill for collecting data.
Also, GGG does not make the economy, the community doe's, it's only logical people are not creative enough to device a new means of trade when a means is already embedded in there mind-set. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" ![]() Maybe you should check out this one thread you stopped reading. Point being, without completely dismantling the game's current mechanics, what you want is impossible. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. " I think there has always been a reason to exalt reduced level requirement. But the affix doesn't exist. Casually casual.

" I believe they are both Rolex but one is a limited edition version with more flare with a finite quantity (and decreasing due to vaal orbs and player turnover) while the other is the more standard commonly available mass produced Rolex which has a finite quantity but is increasing as they roll off the production line and players resell. Nothing wrong with this situation at all. Provides things to strive for if that is your thing. Thanks for all the fish!

This thread is a chicken and the egg story.
GGG did not implement an economy into the game, the players did. I don't see a lot of evidence of the reverse being the case. For example, the community could agree that every item is worth 1 chaos, no mater what the item is. This would result in a fluid market where items change hands more rapidly and where wealth is irrelevant. Just saying, we are our own worst enemy's in this scenario.
