Patch notes 0.9.3 where?
" yay | |
" We did actually consider calling it 0.10.0 (but decided that would be confusing). | |
Well, I think a better version set-up would be –
00.00.00.000 (First zeros represent major releases).(Second zeroes represent major game changes such as general large updates or design changes).(Third zeroes represents minor game feature updates ).(Fourth zeroes represent fixes) - If you have to update just some UI features you roll over the third section of zeroes. - All fixes would be sectioned into the last set of zeroes, rather than using a,b,c,d,e,f etc. Happy Days Abound. I think you should name patches in hexadecimal
Keysus is my guide!

"But wouldn't it get annoying trying to count all the zeros? As is, 0.9.3a would be .000000000.000.0 Unless I am intentionally misunderstanding you. |

A full release patch would look something like this:
1.5.12.192 Release content.Revision or content update.Feature update.Fix Very simple and clean, it incorporates almost everything in a game... I think. Happy Days Abound. Last edited by Silver on Sep 30, 2011, 9:04:05 AM

Name patches with codenames. Numbers are too sterile. This patch could be called something like Soaring Falcon. Yes, I'm not serious.

"Obviously not. Names with animals must be alliterative. |
