would GGG sell license for a "pay to win" server?

Another point: GGG´s reputation is also based on the ethic card they played. The main part for their success was the promise to do it in a different way, after millions of players left the p2w ("socalled free games") in frustration and anger and would have never ever touched one of these games again. GGG´s success is a direct consequence of saying NO to this kind of business model.

What do you think would happen if they break their promise now and join the mainstream greed? Which percentage of actual supporters would stay here and keep on paying??? I wouldn´t !

And by the way, why are you here ? You knew from the very beginning that this game does not give you the chance to buy your success. There is thousands of games out there who offer you to buy success, so why did you start exactly this game?

Next point: The money ! Seems you can´t get enough of it, but how much do you think these p2w companies would pay for a license? We are talking about a small indie firm and their first game that is technically anything else but perfect. And the goal of p2w is to make money for their own company, not for the small indieclub. So, how much do you think GGG could win from that license? After it lost at least 3/4 of their own playerbase and 5/6 of their supporters because they broke their promise.

What you proposed in your posting is nothing else but the ruin of GGG . Nothing more to say.

And about Garena: As far as I know you need an asian partner if you want to go to certain asian markets. Guess this was the background for Garenas license.

Pretty much this. Giving substantial proof is also not that easy. And if user feedback is the main means to track down RMT, they will fail :p

It...it's really not.

The Unreal Engine, when licensed out, does not come with any art assets, it only comes with the engine code and the SDKs required to develop for it.

With a 'pay2win' PoE server, GGG would basically be giving someone else a whole complete game and server to run.

It's two different things.
