Your TOP 3 games of all time

Difficult question, mate, but I can think of a few greats...

Arx Fatalis: first-person homage to the Ultima Underworld series, comprised of a dungeon-based roleplaying game with a heavy emphasis on atmosphere, character development and exploration. It features a unique cooking system (able to combine actual items into something new, not inventory icons or via a menu, and cook such via placing near a fire, stove or other heat-source), magic-casting system (using mouse-gestures to compose runes) and absolutely stellar sound effects.

Deus Ex: the original, which is not to belittle Human Revolution, an excellent game in its own right. Deus Ex pioneered the multiple-choice approach (combat, stealth or diplomacy) in an action-oriented, first-person shooter and remains unchallenged since. Set in a beautifully realized dystopian future and with some of the most well-known, utterly ridiculous voice-acting (of the "so bad it's good" variety) combine to form a game that must be experienced.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines: A gritty urban atmosphere, vampires/werewolves as they were meant to be (beautiful, intoxicating and powerful, yet equally lethal and grotesque, none of this sparkly lovelorn rubbish pop-culture embraces), exquisitely written characters (of whom Jack is the very best) in a convoluted plot wherein the player's choices have genuine impact and meaning, all within a roleplaying game that fans still mod to this day.

...also of note, and contending for any one of those "top three" spots, would be games such as Mafia: The City of Lost Dreams (TPS), Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (Adventure), No One Lives Forever 2 (FPS) and Gothic II (ARPG). Honestly, substitute any of them in any order for the three I listed and you'd still have a superb bunch.

1.metal gear solid 4 is just plain awesome

2.borderlands is like a fps version of diablo

3.dark souls is a real challenge

I have a strange feeling when i look at this,because my favorite games are definitly rpg and Hack'n slash games,and nevertheless I put only one rpg in my ranking

3 . and last but not the least WORLD OF WARCRAFT started it early in 6-7 years ago and i have just quit the game so :( just levelled my char to 85 and realized what shit it has become but 6-7 years is a long time for 1 game
