Should I buy a Conqueror Support Pack?

on the topic , why not give the option for people to craft a mtx from their conquers packs .

like a unique skin or affect free from the baggage of needing balance in the context of the game.

I am sure plenty of clans would pay money to get a cape / armor piece / affect / skin / banner / pet with a clan sigil stamped somewhere

hell id pay money for a summon armmy of kiwis mtx for the summon skeleton / zombie

Considering amount of mtx currently available, designing even more than the current number for the conqueror supporters would take huge amount of time and harm GGG as their income depends mostly on mtx sold.

But sigil stamped on a generic armour piece may take less time to make, so I believe it is a nice suggestion.

Relevant info: A ruler gave 12500$ to get a custom pet, conqueror pack costs 900$.

not even close to the same, the custom pet:

1 can also be a fully implemented monster in the game (not just a pet) , this means stats abilities and ai.
2 can have a custom model, texture and animations

plus the ruler pack came with a metric butt-ton of extra bells and whistles.

I wont deny that making effects and models would take time , but no matter what it would take less resources than making a unique item, since what i suggested would essentially be just the skin and model (free of the excess baggage that comes with balancing stuff)

finally there was a time where you could buy a unique item / monster for 1000

That part of my post was mainly about deoxys decision of prefering giant custom hellion pet exclusively for him over creating a custom monster.

It was never monster, I guess you confused it creating an exile.

As I previously stated I think custom skins for already available mtxs is a good idea.

Reminds me this;

Not sure where this is going now with the skins and the frogs, but the initial post was about designing uniques and have them noticed by GGG.

Having blood magic is already a very hefty drawback in itself given you don't get the aura reduction node located behind it. Being only a 4-link is also a veeerrryyyy strong drawback for an armor.

You can still get the aura reduction node by just taking blood magic again. I think most players will. Blood Magic on the chest is more a choice made for you then a "granted" extra ability.

I especially like the 4-link drawback as otherwise going shield is a no-brainer to buff your armour. This restriction makes 2-handers still viable for this chest.
I also like the fact that there will be builds out there without 5- or 6-links. Certain skills require less supports, we'll have to figure out which ones.

I wouldn't like to touch the drawbacks, if you feel they are too heavy, why not buff the chest a bit, like more life or an extra stat... .

"links sockets from shield and weapon to form a 6-link"

That is such an awesome idea in itself that it should have its own item, not mixed with this all-round armour idea. I once proposed a support gem "overlink", which linked up to 3 gems in 1 link to up to 3 gems in another link, given both links were linked to an overlink gem. You'd lose 2 skill slots, but it would be much easier getting a 6-link.

I hear that you can email support if you're still keen on doing this and they may accommodate you.

That sounds awesome! But you've just been "hearing" about it... can anyone confirm this?

I would really like an answer to that last question: is it possible to send GGG ideas for new uniques? Do they react on such emails?

You got an official response, it should be clear for you;

Thank you for your interest in supporting us! Unfortunately we are not offering the opportunity to design unique items in the current supporter packs. We do hope to have this feature available in the future, however currently it is not.

They don't react to such emails as the current packs don't offer unique item creation.

IMO, support packs should always be purchased as a one way deal. Do it as a way to buy GGG coffees, etc., and to thank them for what PoE has been/is/will be to you. If you need more than that in return, you'd be better served buying MTs as needed.

This is why now more than ever we need to come together and boycott microtransactions until GGG moves in the direction of reducing desync, improving loot drop quality, coming up with a less RNG way to craft, giving us more of the crafting orbs so we can self-craft, etc.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

I think that's an entirely different topic. These are all "fixes" to current issues, while allowing us a way to propose new items is about expanding the game with new content.
well anyway , back to the original question of the op
short answer .... no.

It's better to have an idea rather than solid list of affixes when you go to GGG with a unique idea. They may make an item that has the same basis/intent as that one but if you want that exact item with those exact stats to be implemented, it probably won't be. They'll definitely work with you to make an item similar enough that they consider balanced, though.

Also, the Conqueror support pack doesn't let you make a unique.

Unfortunately, Bunnu is right. I would suggest wait until the next supporter packs are released. The timeframe has not been announced but I imagine that the packs will be released in July when the new leagues drop.
The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.
