New rogue exile MAGNUS STONETHORN
" Yes. . . News-flash guys, any build unable to utilize aura's and take +max resis is from hence forth no longer "viable". Good stuff, good conclusions. Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" Then he would be called a minion-master, not a "summoner" this imply's he needs to summon his minions.
Spoiler
jokes aside, i agree :') a new flask affix on elemental flasks would be a good thought immo?(grants 50% of flask effect to minions?)

" You don't need 7% increased max resistances, just wear a Ruby for safety in case you somehow get caught in the flameblast which on the other hand is REALLY easy to avoid. Especially in Invasion it's almost mandatory to wear a Ruby and if that's too much work for you guys then I have nothing to add. EDIT: Sure, he might need to be somewhat rebalanced but with a build having a fair amount of damage/defense and at least some mobility it's still not a problem. I would also like to add that this is a GAME, what do we play games for? Challenge probably. If not? Then don't play high level maps. It is NOT FUN to run around being able to facetank everything with no strategy what so ever after it gets nerfed because of whining people on the forums playing glasscannon builds. " That's probably it, I remember knocking my tooth out with a bounced-back branch while chopping firewood as a 10-year old or something, since then I've had a distinct aversion for manual labor. Yeah, it was a trauma all right, a blunt trauma. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" Obviously you did it at low level and poorly equipped. You had to farm for better axe and increased physical resistance items (mouth/head protectors for e.g). Or just buy them, as everyone does. Your fault. This is a buff © 2016

" Except nobody plays real glasscannon builds. You can't play a genuine glasscannon in PoE, as in a character that sacrifices all defence for offence. Meaning not picking any defensive nodes at all. Selecting equipment based only on the offensive stats it provides, disregarding all defensive stats. That's a real glasscannon. And it doesn't exist in PoE. You just have tanks and overgeared tanks. And increasingly the game is being balanced around overgeared tanks. If you don't want to facetank everything then the rational solution is to not play a build that dedicates all resources to trying to achieve exactly that. And if you do play a build that does exactly that then, just like your glasscannon whiner, you shouldn't whine when you can facetank everything. Game should be balanced around a normally geared build with a healthy mix of offensive and defensive nodes with normal maximum resists and no block at all. Nothing should ever one-shot such a build. If that leaves players who go balls to the wall defensive and do max block, put all passives into defence, greatly increase their maximum resists etc. able to facetank everything then that's their problem. They shouldn't whine about a game that's not giving them any challenge when they're doing everything they possibly can to avoid any and all challenge. " Absolutely right, I was very low level and reflected damage is a total bitch if you go glass cannon. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs. ◄[www.moddb.com/mods/balancedux]► ◄[www.moddb.com/mods/one-vision1]► Last edited by raics#7540 on Apr 10, 2014, 8:03:26 AM
