In two weeks PoE will have less STEAM players than at the end of last leagues

very informative post Chris. Thanks for taking the time to write that up, much appreciated :)

Invasion is not a hardcore league. It's the complete opposite. It's the "run like a little girl" league because the bosses do THAT much damage. If you want to make it challenging, at least make the odds non-zero..

if you played invasion you'd know that you can fight all the invaders, some are just easier depending on your spec, but, they are mostly a waste of time due to the reward for killing them being so small.

You mean pay 20 ex to get someone else to?
Casually casual.

Hire me.

You already took many of my ideas so far, by hiring me you would not even need to check in the forums for my posts, you would have a direct connection to the source.

Better ideas = better game = happier players = happier forums= word of mouth= greater community= more players
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

I would love to see this build of yours that can fight every invader. Again, league isn't hardcore in any sense of the word if most people just run and reset the area. You might as well just play standard.

Hardcore means if you die, you can't play that character in that league anymore. Invasion is perfectly hardcore.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
The question of whether or not Invasion is hardcore or not is moot. Most people who play Invasion just don't fight the Invasion bosses because...

1) It's risky for their build to fight that Invasion boss.
2) Their build can't kill the Invasion boss in a timely manner.
3) Invasion boss loot sucks.
4) A combination of the above.

Ultimately, Invasion bosses do the same thing as Rogue Exiles except they're less fun to fight, less rewarding to fight, and often way more unfairly rippy. I wouldn't even say that Invasion league was a good idea beyond Rogue Exiles being a good idea and Invasion League just being a crappy variation on Rogue Exiles.
same twelve users are still in the same guild. We get new users every day. I think guilds should be able to have 50 plus users as default. This game is all about having a guild imo.

At release it was about 50/50, due to heavy promotion on their front page. There are a lot more people playing on our platform than on Steam currently.

You're saying nothing. That may work with the easily impressed crowd, but I feel you are dodging the issue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weasel_word

Start by focusing your development and addressing the issues:

- desync
- client performance
- drop rates
- trading reliance
- lack of action against RMTers
- trading system upgrade

Stop making a game for yourself and 5% of your player base, and you'll have more than 5% of satisfied players and retain more than a tiny fraction of those who try out your game. The Steam retention rate is alarmingly low.

and have a mediocre game that appeals to shitty gamers? Why can't we have a hard core game?

There is nothing hardcore about desync, crappy fps, poor loot, no proper trading tools, unfocused development, or tolerance of RMTers. Dark Souls is hardcore. It has none of these issues.
