860 jewellers spent - still no luck :( Please tell me how many it normally takes !

This is the beast I want to 6socket so I can try get my 5link.

I have 5L about 10 items, takes me on average about 70 jewlers to get the 6s. 655 is RNG being very unkind. You may wanna check the iLVL and make sure it's over 50...I think Desert Brigandine has to be over that...but better to be safe than sorry.

It was published quite a while back that 6S is one of 301 possible outcomes when using jewelers, and there has not been any official announcement about changing it. However since you can't get the same number of sockets (the orb always changes the item) your odds are a bit better than 300:1. Somewhere around 240:1, I think.
In other words 655 without getting a 6S is very unlucky but far from unheard of. And to rub some extra salt in your wound: since the RNG is memoryless the 655 jewelers you've e spent has no effect on your future chances. I spent about 600 jewelers on my first 5L but I got the 5L in about a stack of fusings. So overall it wasn't so bad. Last edited by Dauemannen on Mar 27, 2014, 12:18:14 PM

that's some really nasty luck... it seems to average 100-200 jewlers for me to get a 6S
