Personally, I think the Report button is a great idea. Over on the Titan Quest dot Net forum we have a "Need Admin ASAP" thread where members can post links to offending posts/members.
Given the work I have done over there for the last 5-6 years, I would happily volunteer some of my time to help out with the forums. Especially after the game opens up to the public. Custom built Ryzen 7 5700G, Radeon 6600 8gb, 16GB RAM, Win 10 64 bit

" That "need admin" thread would be great! I think it would be even much easier to do than adding a thumps up/down system or something similar to that. Damn timer, you scary!

We've talked about something similar in the mod section in dealing with names, but it can apply to anything that is reportable.
The core of my idea is to give players + points for proper reporting, and - points for spam and other stuff... too many - points and the system would penalize you for posting too much junk to the admins. If I have several things to report I'd feel better about putting said things in a Report or Report Spam button, rather than PMing you about every little thing. Plus I wouldn't have to guess which moderators are online; you'd all be able to see the one big list.

I think this is kind of a good idea, would realy help if there would also be an option that reports 2 threaths with the same subject or something like that.
