How i turn off the trade/chat window?

Its really blocking my view and i can hardly play, how i turn it off?
I find nothing in the controls... Anyone can help? I tried put chat on local, whatever that means in an attemp to atleast lover the trade text blocking my game screen. Currently there is no way to fully turn off the chat window, however you are able to leave the global and trade channels. This can be done by clicking the red button to the left of both 'global chat' and 'trade chat'. You are also able to close the window by clicking the x at the top right of the chat panel, however it will still pop up when someone speaks locally.

This is the one and only really BAd thing about this game.....
No info on how to do stuff if you dont know.. Like trading, if you dont have a friend show you it impossible. This is a real good game, maybe even the best i think but this part sucks worse than any game i ever seen... im sure the info are somewhere but anyone who dont know where to start dont find it for sure. Or are there any info on for example how to wisper to friends or commit a trade or anything like that? I have splayed this game since beta and i still dont know how to trade or chat with people. My stash is bursting with stuff i want get rid of but are to nice to throw away... well, now all i want is to know how i close this damned chat window that blocks my wiew when playing. |

I didnt mean to come out so strong. But this is a feature you definatley want to put in future versions, to turn chat on/off that is. It is a real good suggestion. Mateo |

You were just told how to turn chat off/on... Also, you could start by reading the conveniently stickied FAQ threads at the top of this board. There is a huge amount of knowledge available if you do a little bit of research. :-)
Btw, if you don't want any messages, the chat command you are looking for is /dnd ;-) Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa. Hovever the stickied FAQ didnt help me with many things like how to trade before. Maybe it has been updated as it was quite a long time since i read it last time. I will read again. How to preform the social parts are very important. Many say this is a traders game, but what if you cant trade... |
