[SOLVED] Random GFX-driver CRASHES - FPS Freeze2Login (780 GTX)

currently @ work.

I doubt it has something to do with my connection due to the fact, that the crashes come more often after the first one occurs.

but sure i will run WinMTR tonight.

I added -swa to the exe too but wasn't able to play long enough after that to say if it helps.
(having a creative onboard on my Gigabyte Sniper 5 Mainboard)

When running WinMTR later I will also post more detailed system information.

While the game runs there are no issues at all. Runs smooth, only a few dsync (my mate notice them too in the exact same moments, so they are not related to my client only)
Thus it really must be some weird random problem.

Hope we will find a solution together.

will run another min when i get the next crash.
but maybe the "-swa" fixed it?

Was able to play for long now, but finally got another crash :/

Thus -swa is not a solution.

2+ hours the game was running, with different areas playing. i was about 20min alt-tabbed @ desktop but after that everything runs smooth.
this crash seems as random as the others.

my guess is still a gfx driver (or card) issue. -__-

MUST be a GFX issue !!!

I deactivated TDR via reg-keys and the next crash stays in the freeze frame.
crashed my whole system after that.

Thus every crash i had before was a gfx-driver crash (as i guessed) and the TDR-driver reset was the black screen.

i now enabled TDR again.

any Gigabyte GTX 780 Ghz Edition user?
Which driver versions works for you?

Read about the GTX 780 may crash in games when the voltage is to low due to a no-boost.

Will check my possibilitys to adjust voltage for the non boost mode in the OC tool from gigabyte.

The monitoring from OC Guru 2 tool didn't show any voltage drops.

But today i noticed massive fps-drops like there is a memory leak or something.
Those occurs after the first (and only till now) crash today.

pc-restart fixed it (those low fps)

next infos:

sometimes (not very often) the FPS drops from ~60 (vsync on) to 30
not in the range between those values. it is a exact drop of half my frames.

i play in window mode now, so i can watch the OC guru monitored info permanent.

my core clock varies a lot. sometime @ max. clock-boost, but also only at low ~800 mhz.
temp never over 60°C they are around 52-59°

voltage consumtion varies in respect to the clock.

btw: no crash in window-mode so far. but those FPS-drops at 30 fps are very strange for a system like mine.

the graphs for my gfx-card infos show no abnormality.

was not at max boost core, temps fine, voltage ok.

just d4mn f****** random crashed me.

will try an older driver later today :/
