Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Having a guild stash, alone, is a major upgrade. However, I don't like not being able to have a massive storage system, like I had in D2. And any storage system I get here is going to hit my wallet hard. Great game though. I'll spend the money.

the accounts are free. you can do massive storage with mule accounts just like you did in D2 if you want. buying stash tabs is worth it though :D once you see how awesome the game is you will be happy to help support.

I already spent 10 bucks on two guild stashes for me and a friend of mine to share gear out of. She hasn't started playing yet. I also set up a 10 man Mumble account to start with and will add as needed/up to 25 users. If anyone wants to chat it up on Mumble sometime, it's a free download at mumble.com and it's fast and fairly easy to set up. Just PM me here for the login info. I love to chat and play almost as well as jamming to some Metallica or something. I have one friend in the game so far. LoL Will you be my Mumble friend?

It didn't dawn on me to create multiple accounts by making a new email address. LoL where the hell was my brain. However, having as much storage space ready available on one account will be nice, too. I can see spending some cash here between storage and building a decent guild.

Ok here’s sort of what I have in mind, so far, for a decent guild in this game. I’m going to start with 40 character slots and 4 guild stash tabs. I already have two tabs so I’ll just get two more. Eventually, I think my goal will be to have at least 20-30 tabs and at least 200 character slots. In WoW my guildies were extremely happy with the quality of items in the guild bank, which were mostly free. If they were for sale, they were substantially cheaper (less than half) for guilded characters. I want at least half the gear in the guild stash to be decent gear for leveling, which will be provided free of charge. Just grab what you need/deposit what you don’t as long as it’s not garbage. Guild banks/stashes fill up fast that way. The guild I’m thinking is a leveling guild for all levels but with more concentration on leveling and gearing for end game stuff. We also did a lot of PvP. That’s what I did in WoW. Basically, what I set up was a very large leveling/gearing out factory and turned a lot of members loose on raiding guilds. My guild provided many decent raiders for other well known guilds on my server. At one point, we had over 470 (max) level 90s. That’s kind of what I want to do here. I don’t want to have much emphasis on end game content as much as getting there, which I know will promote more and better guilds in Path of Exile. In the mean time, I will help provide a fun and casual atmosphere (with contests too) for players to level up in and either stick around and help or move onto end game guilds. I just have to get busy grinding some levels and learn the game. I’ve been slacking because my housekeeper is hot and I like to spend extra time with her as much as I can. I’ll get there. I’m thinking around June or so.
