If you're a critical build, you didn't use regen. Pointless to invest in large enough amounts to matter in end game. Flasks are also meh.

Not saying they're not strong, but the irony of how people are reacting to these items is pretty interesting.

That being said, I do agree with charan on the matter of "raid boss", etc. And I do intend on following up on the matter.


realy...? i run two 95% critbuilds and both of them use regen. lowlife makes this mandatory.

I have capped resists with hardly any resist on my individual pieces. Most resist I have is 24 all res on a single piece, with a 20~30 single res on about 3 pieces. I'm overcapped by about 40~50% on most resists other than chaos in Merciless.

No resists isn't an acceptable drawback when resists are extremely easy to cap in this game.

So where are the negatives?

GGG, no resistances is not a negative. Most of the current uniques don't have resistances, and they're not half as overpowered as these. Keep in mind that the only people getting these items will be those with tri-45% res gear that they've bought or traded for anyway.

Also, breaking the leech in the game only to introduce these gloves on the same patch is just insane. Either these were designed in two hours with hardly a thought, or you guys need to hire some people from the community to offer feedback before you implement new items... because I lately get the impression you don't really know how your game plays to begin with.

this is pretty much what its starting to feel like...

but GGG does not get any profit from RMT because all of that is done by third party sites which have no affiliation to GGG...

so either GGG owns RMT sites and this is a huge conspiracy... or something just isnt right...

maybe Chris Wilson got really drunk and pretended he was jay wilson while he was making this patch :)

i did, mostly. with vaal pact its essentially the same, which i made a char based completely around which is ALMOST unkillable except one shots. but i did absolutely facetank poorjoy's asylum, but i went dual wield instead of 1h/shield which would have made me a lot tankier vs spell dmg, the only thing i could possibly die to prepatch.

but with those gloves im sure it wouldn't be hard. a CI crit claw build with upwards of like 40% life leech (instant on crits) and since it applies mana leech instantly on crits also there is no need for soul taker and thus can be sustainable at high attack speeds. all you have to do is eliminate crit multiplier to a point where you won't 1 shot yourself on reflect and you're golden.

im shortly going to be doing the same thing in this patch, respecing my duelist to be a bloodseeker/shield user with upwards of 47% life leech (probably overkill), which with the bloodseeker applies instantly but you still have mana to deal with. i've yet to figure out how im going to solve that problem.
Possibly you need all 4 mortal fragments (grief, hate, etc)

To potentially make one of these uniques at random?
