Now that you mentionned it yeah... You're right, maybe they can add some transparency to the holes and making the design of the holes a bit sober... What you think ?

I'm guessing they either show when mouseover a gem or by hitting a specific key.
Holding 'alt' displays sockets. Holding a gem displays sockets. Mouseover displays sockets. Otherwise, sockets are hidden.
