Nerfwhiners coming in force again. This is why we can't have nice things. Like usual, they can't even figure out what the core issue really is.

Honestly I think the best solution would just be to cap Aegis aurora regen at a % of max ES per second like lifeleech- or have a cooldown between procs like trigger gems. or maybe to encourage life/ES hybrids cap the ES recovering as a % of max life(for CI users make it based off max life pre-reduction to 1 like stun/freeze/shock as shock/freeze duration and stun chance are calculated).



If you try to nerf the amount of ES regened per block to the point where it doesn't give effective immortality against large swarms of enemies you'd have to reduce the proc size to the point where it would be irrelevant against bosses and Rares.




Also- for reasons completely unrelated to Aegis I think block chance cap should probably be reduced to 65%- it's a bit too nuts at 75%.

I'm not arguing whether the item is broken, you said it was not hard to get 40K armor. I'm asking you how you came up with that figure. Now you've lowered the figure to half of that.

If you want to be taken seriously, back up your claims. Show me your 40,000 armor and 1,600es. For all I know you don't even have an aegis tank.

Regardless of insane armor...

If aegis was cut in half it would still be amazing. The real issue is a combination of block cap being to high andeasily obtained high armor.

No legit feedback from defenders of the op item just "blah blah whiners" childish responses...to argue..you need logic and a good retort.

I use it and think it's absolutely bullshit. Not entirely sure how I would want it nerfed though.

It should (?) be a flat ES regen, under 150 of value.

Aegis is absolutely OP.

The only thing I have to worry about in the game now is an extra damage palace dominus smash... which I'm busy et/ex'ing my ES armor in order to fully beat the game.

The shield means you only have to worry about one shots.
