Dagger cast on crit - need advice
" At least :) You have to be realistic about these things.

so anyone can share some insight about how much extra crit chance a second dagger/wand will add without speccing into the dual wield crit nodes? I am really considering running single weapon with a shield like daresso's or a good rare for life/resists and block chance.

That really depends on the stats of the off dagger. It also adds some to hit and attack speed, I think? (It's been a while. I'm a bow user.)
The reason you see so many people Dual Wield is because of that massive crit node and also because many of us who play Rogues have accepted the "Glass Cannon" aspect of the build; meaning survival via killing all the things. It's all just personal preference, but I tried switching out my damage gear that has more potential to kill me for safer stats and didn't like it. As far as blocking, there's a ton of ways you could go about this: Dual Wield with Dual Wield Block nodes. Dagger/Shield with Shield Block nodes. Don't spec in either so that you have the option to switch between both until you decide what you like... You cannot hold a wand and dagger at the same time, as far as I know. |

" Dagger - a lot. A throng, about 250%. If you think you need defense badly (that again depends of playstyle) just use ungil's gauche, it IS effectively a shield (with it's block chance) and you still retain all the dual wield chc nodes. You must understand that one thing pulls next etc. If you want to play with shield, that's OK, but you must to make up for chc chance in other ways. Say with power charges, meaning that you either need volls armor or sacrifice one slot to PCoC. I'm not saying that any solution is better /or not but you have to have clear vision of what you want to achieve, of your build and play style. It takes some experience. around 9-10 base crit on each dagger. How is the crit calculated with 2 weapons? I'm at a loss here. For single weapon its simple to find out, but I noticed that for 2 weapons the full base crit from the 2nd weapon is not added??

It is calculated for each weapon separately, but passives may apply to dual wield only still. Hint, check Twin terrors passive group.

I'm trying to theory craft a low life flicker CoC, and since you all have played much more CoC than I have, I would love your thoughts.
Right now I'm a CI dagger flicker, but I love the idea of doing flicker CoC... Not to mention that with good attack speed and crit you can get 7 casts per second. The two setups I have come up with that really seem solid are flicker multi EK, and flicker multi raging spirit with wrath anger auras. I would love any insight all of you have |

" Hey Bars, I did some more testing today. Barrage works best with GMP and 2 Single Projectile spells like Fireball and Ice Spear. EK works best with Split Arrow and Chain (and Arc if you have an empty socket). Barrage + EK don't really play as well together. That's probably why you didn't like either of the supports. |
