Muted for absolutely no reason.

banned? rofl epic fail thread.
you get muted in d3 as well for spam/links. happened to me.

in my opinion you should be banned from the forums too. your account name isn't cool and offend people. you are obviously 16 years old.

I just don't get it, why would he be muted for posting a link (that you can't click on in game) to a site with a song lyric? Seems like A) Something he pasted by mistake and B) Nothing you should be muted for either way unless you spam it excessively.

Exactly my thoughts, why in earth or heaven would I send a More Than Life lyric on the trade chat of Path of Exile?

I thought I had my buy message on CTRL-V, then I hit it and sent without reading. It was an honest mistake, it's not like I offended anyone, nor spammed the chat or broke any kind of rule.

This is a bit excessive, now I am not able to party or trade for another 18 hours, which basically makes the game dull for me.
If the spam was too much then just give a mute as it entails. Why wouldnt you be able to party? Also... how are you able to program an entire game without adding in a small global chat queue function or filter? Seeing as it's a large issue that has us getting 7 day bans for

I guess it's easier for the devs to ban one too many link spammer, than too few. They're very willingly to listen to pleas of reversal. Rhys willingness to doublecheck the chatlogs for your account, proves that. As others have said - PM a mod, it works.

I PMed all the mods I could find, waiting for a decision.. I don't feel like logging to play solo....

Because apparently banning people is easier than implenting a chat queue or filter into a global chat function. I want a refund. Blizzard may have fucked up diablo 3 but atleast I was never taken advantage of.

18 hours? That's, like, almost a whole day. Here I was thinking you were muted forever. Now you don't even have a legitimate reason to complain! That sucks, man! I really feel sorry for you now. You tell those snarky posters. You tell them how much you love this game, that you can't even wait 18 hours to play again. I bet you love Path of Exile more than anyone else on this thread. You are the real Diamond Supporter. Those other guys are fake. You are the real. Just remember that.
I believe in you.
it's spelt worng though lol I do that for a reason. I just think what they're doing is unjust and reminds me of the WarZ team.
I have contacted Rhys through PM, and I think it was a bit excessive of my part making a public thread regarding this issue, which was easily solved when well explained. Apparently there was also a report against me due to foul language, which is weird but not impossible since I'm not a saint, heh.

Just want to apologize for creating such a e-drama and for any offense I may have caused for using foul language on the trade chat.

This topic can be closed.
enjoy you only got a 24 hour muting. I'm stuck on a 4 days mute, which for some reason allows me to talk on in game chats but doesn't allow me to post in forums or use PMs. Seems odd that my punishment for comments in global (I know my error, not naive) got my website privileges restricted. Especially because I'm more productive/helpful on forums and generally a troll in global.
This has been resolved, clearly.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.
