Muted for absolutely no reason.

So, I just logged in now to find my account muted.

I had my global chat turned off since I started playing, and only used the trade chat to buy/sell stuff.

Now I am unable to progress further without partying, trade or even chat with my friends that play the game with me.. FOR NO REASON AT ALL.

Can some moderator check this with the live team? I am 100% sure this is some sort of bug.

Your best bet is to PM support- it might get you a faster response, as I don't think they always check the forums.

I'm sorry this happened. I hope it gets fixed for you soon. Maybe they were aiming for another name and missed?

Character names seem to be the biggest reason I've noticed lately.

It's kind of amusing how people forget about it.

My character name is Belisario, it has nothing to do with it.

I tried PMing a mod in-game but he says he can't do anything.

I don't even chat in global, this is absolutely terrible. I can't even join my friends team to keep playing... what am I supposed to do?

Seriously dude- send a PM to support. If the in-game mods can't help, the support guys might be able to forward the problem to someone who can.

On a side note, I think I might have missed something. I've been seeing this argument in other mute threads as well, namely the one were people call muting "game breaking" cause they can no longer get into the parties they need to progress.

I know Cruel got harder, but are people really getting stomped solo? If so, then at least I can have good faith in my own, personal, unique builds.

I play solo, always. So far, I've met no real problems- except for those that I have made for myself (my main has turned into a glass cannon, and I'm now trying to rectify the problem and toughen him up.)
