So, what's new?
Trading information is a normal thing. That is how free services like Facebook and Google are able to sell high quality advertisement products. No one would take the effort to maintain such huge networks without craving for some profit. Them babby needs it's food.

The Bing Rewards page tells me:
"Please allow up to 48 hours for the 200 bonus credit offer to become available after your friend joins."
So that's probably all it is.
