Dead League Nemesis?
" Endgame? That's not even first base. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" Regardless of my personal progress I have buddies that have played to what you are call an "end game". |

" Could be how you play too. I have never traded, so I base none of my experience on the population of trading. I had the trade channel on once, until I learned how to shut it off. The leagues ending is valid. I've only played Domination, with the odd peek into standard, and several players I know (RL buds) have taken a break because of the league time-line. Me though? I'm still playing, but I play several games, and come and go. As for RMT, again I don't trade. None of my buds that play trade either. Could be a lot of those playing are like-minded as I, I don't care how much emphasis GGG puts on trade, I ain't doing it, and you'd never even know I played if all you gauge is trade-chat. I do not trade. At all. My char is lvl 85, it's a non-issue reaching end-game/maps etc without trade. EDIT* with how cumbersome trading is here, I strongly feel that many avoid it entirely as I do, and it should not be a basis for population analysis. Seriously. No one I've ever met in-game trades but one, and it's all he did. He is also interestingly, the one that is no longer playing out of all my friends. " truth be told - once you can clear 75+ maps you ARE at the end game. lvl has nothing to do with it game will not change after that point. it is long mundane grind up to lvl100 and the best part - what stops most people from doing ie lvl76 maps is the RNG. not the difficulty some bosses are broken and these are universally skipped |

" Grinding for gear or XP after beating the end boss of the highest difficulty *IS* the end game in ARPGs. Are people new to the genre and only have MMO experience, or why is this always such a surprise? Could it be improved? Probably. What game can't? The fact remains that not a single ARPG has more end game content than PoE, and most have less. (D2 has some very archaic form of PvP, but that was done by very few people only and never had any official support.) | |

" so now i dont understand. someone here was dissed because he wasnt already in the 'end game' but if end game is xp/loot grind then it has nothing to do with difficulty but efficiency. and well known fact is that in poe efficiency means faceroling content, not accepting challenges - easy maps, twin bosses, inhibitation affixes. doing maps -max, +ele weaknes +ele reflect will not make anyone famous and decreases efficiency a lot. it is harder but thats not the point of grind for loot/xp it is possible to grind loot already doing piety as she drops plenty of chaos and occasionally a soultaker or bor on the other hand if 'end game' means end maps then just as ive said - once you can do 75+ content then you already cleared the end game because no matter what level you are - game will not get any harder after that. ofc unless you fall asleep 'doing content' only few (probably less than 50) players clear all bosses, because some are simply absurdly powerful compared to rewards they bring |
