As someone else also stated, Domination and regular Standard are as busy as ever. I'm sure they are down a bit in Domination, due to the ending soon bit, but overall you don't really notice it, because there are that many more players.
That all said, with desync in this game, I wouldn't waste my time in HC in any league or otherwise. I've had 'lag' deaths in HC modes in other games, but they were freak occurrences in them, not every 2-5 minute deals like it is here. With desync how it is, HC is a waste of time.
standard ISNT as busy as always. im playing standard from day 0 and now it is almost dead. when you log in into trade chat 1 and there is noone in trade chat 3 that is a sign (And to all saying - people are using poe.xyz - yeah right, im trying to buy a fencoil staff for 3 days already and all people are offline, graveyard!)
and it is not 'as always' dom/ons is the second time leagues are up so it is not business as usual.
and 'im not playing because lagues are ending' - what kind of a reason is that? what is has with anything? you dont find game interesting so you are not playing. just say it. 'leagues are ending' is one of the lamest mass excuse ever. or maybe you are trading/rmt and there is not much demand for currency when people are already stocked?

Wat? Leagues ending is the most common reason to take a break from the game. All the items are going to their respective dumpster leagues, and most people have been playing for 8+ weeks and are slowly burning out anyway.
