i would add that even ggg staff will never ask for your password to access your account for maintenance or similar as they can always play a copy of your characters on their own servers.

btw any from ggg don´t go to ask for your pass... it´s simple they only need your account... they have all de passwords =) even has hash.. the can saw ours accounts

Side note with this post. For personal safety never use the same email for any game that you also use for online banking, paypal, or any other payment service. While GGG will never give out your email to anyone that doesn't mean a hacker/scammer can't still get it. By keeping separate email accounts for anything to do with money and gaming your creating a divide that most scammers/hackers can't get a cross. If you are a victim of a key logger then this wouldn't protect you it will only slow down the hacker. What will protect you is region locking your email accounts. Most hackers/scammers that go after your money and your game account are based in China or Russia (between the 2 of them they are roughly 80% of all internet account and identity theft, with the respective crime families running it(believing this or not doesn't change reality)). By region locking your email accounts these would be thieves can't log into your account (proxy servers can get around this but the legal ones are tagged and wouldn't bypass region locks and the illegal ones don't stay up for very long but can cause damage while they are). What's region locking you might ask, simple put all IP's have certain address ranges for certain areas a region lock makes it so only while in your region can your email address be accessed. Which email providers offer this you make ask, almost all the big providers offer it. So in summery keep your gaming and banking/paypal emails separate, region lock your emails, and this is a big one never use one of the 5 most common passwords(common sense but still they're common for a reason) |
