Labyrinth boss, Evasion, Accrobatics and IR
I googled Labyrinth boss and Evasion and didn't find anything so her it is.
Labyrinth boss is a machine gun chicken that multi casts physical projectile spell instead of attacking. Because of this, it cannot be evaded or resisted without armor. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Labyrinth_Map I tried doing this with an evasion char and it did 6500 damage in one cast with 9% spell block. With a Granite flask it did about 5000 damage. Needless to say I gtfo of there.. Being CI, Phase Acrobatics is not an option. I could respec 2 points and get IR but why should this be mandatory for every build in the game? Do the monster physical spells have to do that much damage? If so shouldn't there also be high damage low accuracy monsters to pose as much challenge to armor users? (I have a theory that Devourers are this but not sure) Chris said in a recent interview that they like to change things up now and then and that's fun but Evasion never had it's chance to shine before the new monsters sent us running back to IR. Another thing I've noticed: CI total cost: 5 points Acro total cost: 6 points IR total cost: 1 point. CI: removes all but 1 life Acro: removes half of armor and es IR: removes evasion from dex My char has 262 dex but the 702 ev loss is not much compared to the ev I get from Grace. Most IR users have less dex so IR has very little fallback for them. Imo for IR to be even with CI and Acro at this point it would need to be more like this: (converts 50% ev to armor. Cannot evade enemy attacks)--(armor node)--(armor node)--(armor node)--(Cannot be stunned) Also the Blood Magic gem monotony could use a change too but I'll post that in gem feedback. The Blood Magic keystone would not seem so bad if the Blood Magic gem were not so over powered although maybe it could use a circle like with Ancestral Bond, between BM and MC that has reduced mana and life nodes. You can bait the machine gun attack then side stepping it. Then melee the shit out of her if you are melee.

" I did a multi projectile mod but I figured it was multi projectile anyway. It had a wide spread but even if it were narrow it's not worth the risk. For ev it's like messing with a vaal slam. I've never played that map, so I can't really tell.
IR with Jade + Granite flask with % armour or evasion, Arctic Armour, endurance charges, life regen, life leech, if it is indeed half chaos damage bring Amethyst flask maybe, and ultimately the Immortal Call. |

" Not too sure. I have about 11k evasion and I dodge quite a lot of time he does the machine gun skill (which is always it's first attack). Face tank all the devourers/blue pack along with boss as a bow ranger. Man I love gearing with HP/Eva/Quality Enfeeble :D IGN : Ericaa

These wsa my fight with the labyrinth boss as an Acro character:
http://youtu.be/BSEnOQszzGc labyrinth boss hit me for about 3.1k damage and this was jungle valley http://youtu.be/WccbE-aB30k Jungle valley boss crit me and hit for about 5k damage. Chaos res was approx 60% in the first case and 38% in the second. IR users would at least have been able to mitigate some damage because of armour. Evasion users would not be able to Edit: also notice that the weaver cast EK twice in succession as compared to labyrinth which cast its projectile spell once to give the user time to recover hp. I would most certainly have been killed by the weaver if both spells had hit me - which would have done a combined total of 8.3k damage, which is a ridiculous amount of burst damage.
