There is no such thing as 'human nature', that's a myth. All behaviour is learned.
You should educate yourself a little bit on this topic.

Reflexes are not "learned".

And that behavior is learned from... Other humans. Were any of your teachers dogs?

Guess what man, people are going to do whatever they can get away with to get ahead in life. It's human nature and a competitive video game is going to have it just like a competitive sport or anything else.

Before you say "Oh my gosh I can't believe someone could stoop so low!" try turning on the news, people stoop lower every day.

GGG has supported the "if you can get away with it, do it" motto, and their opinion is really the only one that matters in this case.

Indeed they will, and I am not surprised. Competition brings out the worst in people sometimes.
And I condemn these people whenever I feel they deserve it. Of course GGG has their own opinion, but you're wrong - theirs is not the only one that matters in this case. It never is. Game developers cannot afford not to listen to their players. If they decide of course that this kind of behaviour is laudable, and if this community becomes more beligerent and continues to grow more toxic, then that is the day I take my leave.

I find it completely okay to do everything within the rules of the competition to win said competition. Havoc and FranzKafka didn't break any rule by using an exploit.

I do not find it okay that you and other people condemn them for following the rules. You want to impose your personal rules on them and comdemn them when they don't follow them; that's ridiculous.

You are very much welcome to try to convince GGG to change the rules infor the next major 4-month league competition and I am more than willing to support you in that cause. I think that GGG's stance on exploit-abusing is not okay if they really care about their competitions.

Reason is, their current stance encourages competitors to hide exploits as long as they can, which means that for those who do not compete (such as myself), the game takes longer time to fix, which affects the economy and balance of the game.

Don't blame the player, blame the game :).

There were no proper rules, so they didn't do anything within the "rules". Rather, they did not do anything outwith the non-existent "rules". I'm perfectly fine with them winning said competition.

Note that I even mentioned that they shouldn't be banned or punished for having done so.

However, I am free to voice my opinion, and my opinion is that this achievement is tainted. They may have won this competition, but that is a tainted achievement considering the measures that they had to resort to. Of course you may think otherwise, but the fact that the majority do not follow your point of view already renders this achievement tainted.

The last I heard, people were free to have opinions. What makes it alright for you trying to impose your own personal rules on us and try to stop us condemning them when in your words, we're imposing our own personal rules on them and condemning them?

This game evolved from CB to OB to release because of a close collaboration between the development team and the players, and the only way forward is for that to continue.

I will condemn as much as I like players like this who hide exploits and use them for personal gain instead of reporting them from the onset, and you of course are free to condemn me for doing so, and we shall all go on a condemnation-go-round. Seems fair to me, let the condemnation begin!

Learned from other beings, yes. It is not something you're born with, as you were implying with 'human nature'.
GGG didn't mention them hitting 100 in announcements. I sort of doubt it was just an oversight.

There are actually nice people out there in the world. But of course there are also people out there that may indeed behave worse than dogs - that much I agree. Those that have to resort to insulting others on forums for instance, I would consider in the latter category.

Dogs are loyal and friendly. I don't know what dogs you've met.

Human nature is a tendency that most humans have to act in said manner. Being born with it would be an instinct or a predisposition.

Although you could say that humans are generally also predisposed to it, but again that is a learned behavior also.

Edit: No offense meant to dogs, Mazul =P

Funny also how you logically consider yourself to behave worse than dogs, given that you insulted other forum users (namely those who insult other forum users) by consider them to behave worse than dogs. XD
