Read what I wrote again. Neon used to be the top guy for working out exploits before anyone else, and he now works full time for GGG doing exactly that. If it weren't for him I'm sure there would be a hell of a lot more of this stuff going on.

Exploits aren't a one time thing that just get fixed and then don't appear again. When one is fixed, another will appear, it's an endless cycle. They have a QA team, and the fact that this seems to be a relatively isolated example of a heavily abusable mechanic is actually pretty solid proof that they are doing a good job, when you consider the ridiculous number of combinations of things that are possible.

people were CoD + zombies in normal since NOVEMBER. hardly isolated stuff. remote trick was known also for some time. but people kept it secret for obvious reasons. free auras exploit is still live after 1.5YEARS! etc etc. so it is bit hard to believe that serious effort is used to hunt this stuff. it seems that unless someone visible (Kripp or other top-streamer) makes a detailed video showing the problem nothing is happening

snapshotting is very difficult to fix from what i understand and i doubt they would devote precious development time on fixing player abuse (At least until it was rampant) rather than focusing on adding new content.

After reading roughly all those posts, two things come to my mind :

- Rilke (first level 100 on Nemesis, gratz again) is not Havoc. Rilke didn't exploit a bug to make his way to level 100. Yes, Rilke played with Havoc, and Havoc is using a bug since level 94 (according to him). Someone posted here their two xp sheets saying "look how fast these guys were going !". Well, the only thing that these xp charts tell me, is that one month ago, Rilke was 95 (http://poestatistics.com/users/franzkafka/rilkeisrilke.html) and Havoc was 87 (http://poestatistics.com/users/havoc6/hva.html).

- People saying that spork totems were somehow a "bug exploit" or something similar to the CoD bug ? LMAO.

outrageous bug exploits and overpowered builds both get nerfed(fixed) in the end even if it takes 6 months(spork) or 1 week(codt).

Bull. Again, think of the countless number of potential combinations that are possible in this game. You have no idea how many exploits have been prevented from getting in the game, but given that you don't seem to be able to come up with more than a handful of questionable examples, again I restate that I think it shows they are doing a pretty good job of dealing with this sort of stuff.

Can people understand that Snapshotting and CoD abuse is 2 separate subjects?
Only idiots who understand nothing about summoners think its the same thing. CoD specters without dying is the problem here tha causes this kind of boss melting dps. NOT snapshotting.

If they removed snapshotting and left cod alone this dmg would still be possible.

If they remove CoD being compatible with minions or at least fix the trap gem swap thing so you actually have to die to CoD summoner dps will be fine like its always been.

Snapshoting and CoD abuse are 2 different subjects and only misinformed idiots think its the same thing. Its like when I see people that have a shit computer and they have low FPS say "OMFGZZZ Desyncing all over the place fuck this game"

I don't feel using the exploit should be bannable or the accomplishment of getting 100 commended. As long as you had fun on the journey, that's all that matters to me. If that's the case, then congratulations for enjoying yourself!

That's true Rilke wasn't using the bug. He just let Havoc carry him with the bug from 98-100. It taints his achievement in the eyes of many. I don't care one way or the other because getting to 100 isn't really impressive to me. It's the same as getting to 90 and then playing trade and grinding the same content over and over for a masochistic number of hours.

When Havoc hit first 100 at SC - there was a drama about beeing caried by RMT players.
When Baker hit first 100 at HC - there was a drama that he hits it with shitty OP build.
When Franz hit first 100 at Nemesis guess what - there is a drama that he plays with guy who use "exploit"

Who next?

Im not telling that there isnt any rights, here in this topic, but if we should blame anything or anyone about that "tainted" achivement then it isnt franz neither havoc. Its ggg reaction time to fix a bug//exploit.
