Reset Time on Zones

I've been looking all over and it's not on the FAQ or the Wiki...
How long does it take for an instant to reset? I know there is an Android app for it which is nice but I just am looking for a cemented time. |

8-15 minutes.
You can force it by ctrl+clicking on the entrance to the instance. |

So it's a random time between 8 - 15. Isn't that kind of asinine to have it be a general time?

It was 8 minutes during open beta because of the server load, it has yet to be determined if the time was reset back to the original reset time of 15 minutes.

First of all, it's not random but depends on the number of entrances an area has: one = 8min, two or more = 15min. Also, like Septile said, you do not have to wait at all if you ctrl+click and choose to get a new instance (e.g. for farming/levelling purpose). :-)
