If its only affected by its own sockets, then why have any effects for white sockets? Its not possible to roll white sockets on a prismatic eclipse.
Possibility a) GGG and I both have a twisted sense of humor.
Possibility b) It is, in fact, possible to get white sockets onto the weapon.
possibility c) It was added as a measure to future-proof the design.
